Wireless Tactical Robotics Platform

A team-built mobile robotic platform with wireless control and an integrated Nerf launcher.

Project Overview

My team designed and built a mobile robotic tank controlled using a PS3 controller. The system combined motorized movement, wireless control, mechanical construction, and an integrated Nerf gun used as the firing mechanism.

Main Capabilities

The tank was designed to move forward, backward, and turn using independently controlled drive motors. The PS3 controller provided wireless directional input, while a separate control was used to activate the Nerf shooting mechanism.

Engineering Work

The project required mechanical assembly, motor control, controller input mapping, wiring, power distribution, troubleshooting, and system integration. The team repeatedly tested the tank to improve its responsiveness, mobility, and firing reliability.
